Genesis!

Meet the Great Men and Women of Genesis!

This fall, CCK Women’s Fellowship is embarking on a journey back to the beginning--Genesis! Genesis is a fascinating book that explains the beginnings & mysteries of so many things: our world & universe, people, marriage, family, sin, nations, the Jewish nation, etc. The Book of Genesis is also filled with an amazing assortment of timeless, classic characters whom God used in some significant way to shape the world we live in.

We invite you to travel with us as we explore the lives of these ancient men and women, discover the remarkable truths and lessons they learned, and apply enduring principles to our lives today! In our character studies we will employ the inductive method: observing the facts about the character, interpreting the significance of the character, and applying truths to our present day lives.

With a simple click, you can view & print our schedule and the character study form that you would like to use for selected passages. There are three character study forms: Form A: Character (noting what character says and does) Form B: Character--Interaction between Character and God (some passages note a lot of interaction between Character & God) Form C: God (Focuses on God’s activities and character., which is perfect for certain passages like Genesis 1).

We encourage you to pray and ask the Holy Spirit to teach you as you study God’s Word! We’re praying that your life will be radically changed as you spend time with God and these great men and women of Genesis! May God pour out His blessings on you as you study & apply His Word!

God bless you!
